One more snide brush-off
Rejections and objections
Call reluctance looms
Welcome to the Prospecting Professor. The intent of this weblog is to provide sales prospecting help for financial advisors. 5 days per week, we will strive to publish a concise 'sales nugget' per day. The common focus of these 'nuggets' will be to assist advisors with their client acquisition.
For the past 2+ decades, many financial advisors have relied upon telesales as the primary vehicle to gain new clients. Our mission is to help those advisors who want to move beyond the 'dial-and-rile' culture. If the Prospecting Professor has an underlying client acquisition philosophy, it is to embrace strategies that: allow advisors to identify unique groups of investors who like, or connect with, the advisor (and who the advisor likes in return). As my mother says, "There's someone for everyone."
Thanks for checking in with us! If you like what you see, please tell your advisor friends and colleagues. Also, let us know what works for you...and what doesn't. You can email us directly, or make your comments at the end of each post.
Thanks again very much. We'll leave you today with one more sales haiku...
It's a numbers game.
